070 We have been taught that all things are possible with God. God is consciousness, and man cannot separate himself from consciousness for he is that. Are not all things also possible therefore, with man? Jesus the Christ understood this unlimited capacity for expansion when he said-"Greater things shall you do than I have done." He put no limitations upon himself or upon another. It is through the understanding of the consciousness, which is oneself, expressing through all forms that gives one the power to control all elements. Cannot a being command himself into action? Cannot consciousness direct its own movements? This mighty Cosmic force, with power to do and the intelligence to direct, is the most generous giver of all things to those who utilize every fleeting conscious moment, but it turns a relentless executioner in the hands of those who pay no attention to its gift of Ideas.
070 私達は全てのことが神とともにあっては可能だと教えられて来ました。神は意識であり、また人は意識から分離できません。何故なら人は意識であるからです。では、全ての事柄もまた、人間にあっては可能ではないでしょうか。イエス・キリストは「私が為した以上の大いなることを貴方は為すだろう」と言った時、この拡大する無制限の能力を理解していたのです。彼は自分自身にも他の者にも如何なる限界を設けていませんでした。それは全ての元素を支配する力を与え、万物を通して表現している自分自身である、意識の理解を通じてのことです。何人であれ、自分自身に行動せよと命令することは出来ないことでしょうか。意識はその運動を指図出来ないでしょうか。この力強い宇宙的力はそれを為す力と指導する知性を持ち、意識的瞬間の束の間のひとつひとつを活用する者達にとって全てのものを与える寛大な贈与者ですが、一方、そのアイデアの贈り物に何らの関心を払わない者達の手にあっては情け容赦の無い執行人に変貌するのです。
【解説】
私達各自には、大きな可能性があることはイエスも教えていたということです。
私達が意識からの指示を受け入れ、実践するならば、創造主と同等の働きをすることが可能であるのです。万物創造の基本法則である意識の力を受け入れれば、私達自身も創造する側の役割を担えるという訳です。
この為、私達が意識に従う限り、そこに制限は無く、力を発揮することが出来ます。言い換えれば、創造主は常にその創造的な力の発現を望んでおり、もし私達自身がその一翼を担う意欲があれば喜んで力を貸して呉れることでしょう。天国を造り上げることこそ、創造主のお望みであるからです。
